Creating Accessible Documents Starting with Microsoft Word
After a couple of months working on websites, August may be a good time to hold a webinar to talk about how to make documents accessible. Many local government entities create simple Microsoft Word documents for letters, meeting agendas/minutes, etc and then save them as PDFs. Before these are converted to PDFs and added to websites, they must be made accessible. The simplest way to do this is by starting from an accessible Word template. This webinar will walk participants through the basics of how to make Word documents accessible and how to create a Word template that they can use as a starting point for creating accessible documents.
