LocalGovU Online Training
Your entity has access to over 1,000 online local government professional development and training courses through LocalGovU, the NDIRF’s member-exclusive free online training platform. A few examples of course types include human resource management, customer service, road maintenance, general safety, and cybersecurity.
LocalGovU also offers North Dakota POST Board-approved courses through which law enforcement agencies can fulfill 20 of the 60 North Dakota POST training hours required every three years.
If you’re not already a registered LocalGovU administrator or user, click here to request access to the training platform. User requests are generally reviewed and verified quickly, giving you access to the online training platform within two business days.
A LocalGovU Customer Success representative will reach out to connect once your account has been verified. This representative can also help you add your entity’s users, including fellow employees and elected officials. Administrators have the ability to assign training courses, run reports, and more.
