NDIRF Hiring Insurance Multiline Underwriter

North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund has opened an Insurance Multiline Underwriter position. The salary range is $59,000-$87,000 and interviews will begin taking place in late January. This position is responsible for evaluating new and renewal member applications, determining appropriate rating bases, and ensuring that coverage and pricing accurately reflect each member’s exposures. Other important qualifications for this position include:

📝Knowledge of underwriting policies, procedures, documentation, and general operational characteristics of an insurance program, including coverages, policy forms, and the implications of limitations and exclusions.

📚Knowledge of basic insurance rating processes, actuarial standards, and legal considerations as they relate to underwriting.

⚖ Knowledge of, and ability to interpret and apply, applicable federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations, as well as local government organization, policies, and procedures.
