The North Dakota Insurance Reserve Fund (NDIRF) is looking for a professional and driven Member Services Representative to provide on-site surveys, risk assessments, and proactive loss control guidance for member entities across the state. This role combines fieldwork with analytical responsibilities, focusing on identifying liability and property risks, recommending practical solutions, and helping member strengthen safety and compliance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site liability and property surveys for NDIRF and State Fire & Tornado Fund members
  • Review loss histories, exposure data, and survey files to identify trends and potential hazards
  • Prepare detailed reports with findings, photographs, and recommended corrective actions
  • Coordinate with third-party evaluators and internal departments to ensure accurate property data
  • Support member education through presentations, onboarding sessions, and loss control programs
  • Build strong working relationships with members, agents, and partners while delivering high-quality service

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with major course work in construction technology, civil or structural engineering, risk management and insurance, occupational safety, public administration, or related field; and
  • 2–3 years of experience;
  • A combination or education and experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and travel frequently
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Associate in Loss Control Management (ALCM), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 – $97,500.00 per year
